13. Draft a Service Page for a Modality You Use

This Week's Practice: Draft a Service Page for a Modality You Use

Welcome to this week’s edition of The 15-Minute Practice — a short, powerful tip to help you grow your private practice with clarity, one simple step at a time.

Your 15-Minute Action This Week

Create a rough draft of a service page focused on one modality you use in your practice.

What You'll Get

In 15 minutes, you’ll start building a page that helps future clients understand your approach—and make it easier for Google to find and recommend your services.

1. Step 1: Jot down your raw materials
Pick one modality you use (like EMDR, CBT, or somatic work). Then brainstorm:
• A few headline ideas
• 3–4 bullet points about what makes your approach unique
• Any client benefits or common concerns you address

2. Step 2: Use AI as a draft assistant
Paste your brainstorm into ChatGPT (or your preferred tool) and ask it to create a rough draft of a service page. You might include: an intro, benefits, what to expect, who it helps, and FAQs.

3. Step 3: Review and revise in your voice
Read the draft and tweak it to sound like you. Keep or cut anything that doesn’t fit. Edit for tone, clarity, and your style—and then save or publish it.

Bonus: Even if you only get a short version done today, that’s a meaningful start. You can always expand on it later. SEO is about providing valuable content, and you build that over time.

This Step's Purpose

Google has said it’s focused on “rewarding high-quality content, however it is produced.” That means using AI tools is fine—as long as you’re reviewing and adding your perspective. It’s your clarity, your tone, your values that help clients connect.

Try It Today

Set a timer. Pick a modality. Brainstorm your bullet points and pop them into ChatGPT. Then shape the result into something that feels like you.

And if it sparks an idea or a question, just hit reply to this email. I’d love to hear what you find.
