9. Build a Linkable Asset

This Week's Practice: Build a Linkable Asset

Welcome to this week’s edition of The 15-Minute Practice — a short, powerful tip to help you grow your private practice with clarity, one simple step at a time.

Your 15-Minute Action This Week

Create one small piece of content designed to be “linkable.”

What You'll Get

In 15 minutes, you’ll take a meaningful step toward earning backlinks—an essential part of building trust with Google and helping more people find your website.

1. Choose a small topic that’s genuinely helpful for your audience—like a simple checklist, template, or FAQ.

2. Create a standalone page or blog post for it. You don’t need to write much—focus on making it useful.

3. Add a sentence like “Feel free to share this with clients or colleagues” to encourage linking and sharing.

Bonus: Think about what another therapist might want to bookmark or send to a client. That’s a good clue you’re on the right track.

This Step's Purpose

Linkable assets—like checklists, templates, and resource pages—are more likely to be shared and cited by others. This boosts your visibility and authority without needing tech skills or constant content creation. It’s a small but mighty move in your SEO toolkit.

Try It Today

Set a timer. Brainstorm one piece of content someone else might want to link to. Then draft it—just the bones. You can polish it later.

And if it sparks an idea or a question, just hit reply to this email. I’d love to hear what you find.
