7. Embed a Google Map on Your Contact Page

Welcome to this week’s edition of The 15-Minute Practice — a short, powerful tip to help you grow your private practice with clarity, one simple step at a time.

Your 15-Minute Action This Week

Embed a Google Map on Your Contact Page

What You'll Get

In 15 minutes, you’ll give local clients an easier way to find you—and give Google a clearer signal about where your practice is located.

1. Go to Google Maps and search for your practice or office address.

2. Click the “Share” button, then “Embed a map,” and copy the HTML code.

3. Paste that code into your website’s Contact or Location page (usually in the site editor’s HTML block or embed option).

Bonus: Add a short sentence near the map like, “You can find my office near the corner of Main and Oak in downtown Portland.”

This Step's Purpose

A visible, clickable map helps both clients and search engines. It improves usability, supports your Google Business Profile, and reinforces your local relevance—all of which make it easier to show up in the local map pack.

Try It Today

Find your address on Google Maps. Copy, paste, publish. Simple—and surprisingly powerful.
