6. Add Internal Links to a Blog Post

Welcome to this week’s edition of The 15-Minute Practice — a short, powerful tip to help you grow your private practice with clarity, one simple step at a time.

Your 15-Minute Action This Week

Add internal links to a blog post.

What You'll Get

In 15 minutes, you’ll guide visitors deeper into your site—helping both clients and search engines understand your site’s structure.

1. Choose one blog post you’ve already written

2. Skim the post and look for 1–3 places where you mention a related service, topic, or question.

3. Add a clear, natural link to a relevant page on your site (like a service page, FAQ, or another blog post). Use descriptive text like learn more about anxiety therapy instead of click here.

Bonus: If you have a service you want to highlight, link to that page in the final paragraph or under a “Next Steps” section.

This Step's Purpose

Internal links help you in two big ways:

  1. They boost your SEO by showing Google how your site is organized.

  2. They improve the client experience by making your content easier to navigate.

One small update — two important wins.

Try It Today

Pick one blog post. Find one natural spot to add a link. That’s it.

And if you’re not sure what to link to, reply to this email — I’d love to help you brainstorm.
